About Us

Who We Are, What We Do

At WingTek, your mobility and well-being take center stage. Our dedicated team of skilled Orthotists and Prosthetists are passionate about delivering personalized care and innovative solutions tailored to your unique journey. Regardless of what your needs are, we are here to help you soar.

Our Story

WingTek was inspired by the need to create a healthier and more accessible orthotics and prosthetics clinic in Southern Saskatchewan. Experiencing firsthand the physical challenges that can arise in traditional practices, we saw an opportunity to revolutionize the way care is delivered. By combining traditional skills in orthotics and prosthetics with cutting-edge 3D scanning and printing technology, we’ve designed a process that prioritizes precision, efficiency, and personalized care.

This integration allows us to craft high-quality devices that enhance confidence, comfort, and compliance. Through a network of highly skilled professionals from our partners and suppliers, we strive to bring a wide range of expertise and tailored solutions to our clients while delivering exceptional care.

Crafting Confidence

At WingTek, we’re not just improving outcomes—we’re crafting confidence, independence, and a brighter outlook for every individual we serve. We have built a practice where health, innovation, and care come together seamlessly to empower your journey forward.

WingTek is led by Brianna Hartness, a Certified Orthotist with a Master of Science (MSc) in Rehabilitation Sciences. With over a decade of experience coaching canoe/kayak and hockey athletes, Brianna has transitioned her passion for optimizing human potential into the field of orthotics and prosthetics (O&P). Her tenure at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre cultivated a deep-seated dedication to enhancing mobility and performance, meeting individuals where they are at in life—whether supporting youth with neurological conditions, aiding in recovery, or helping older adults manage chronic conditions. Born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, Brianna brings a profound understanding of the community’s needs to her practice, reflecting her belief that every stage of life presents unique opportunities for growth and improved quality of life. She also enjoys keeping up with the latest advancements in O&P to ensure her patients receive the best quality care.

You are in Good Hands

Certified Orthotists (CO(c)) and Prosthetists (CP(c)) are highly trained professionals specializing in the assessment, design, and fabrication of devices that support mobility, relieve pain, and prevent injury or deformity. Their expertise combines knowledge of biomechanics, pathology (nerve, muscle, and bone), mechanical engineering, and material science.

Becoming a certified practitioner requires a minimum of 8 years of education and training, including a university degree, a two year diploma, a two-year supervised residency, and successful completion of rigorous national exams through Orthotics Prosthetics Canada (OPC). Practitioners also engage in ongoing continuing education to maintain their credentials and often pursue additional specialization.

Certified clinicians often collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and medical specialists in orthopedics and rehabilitation, to provide comprehensive care focused on improving quality of life. At WingTek, this dedication to excellence and collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.
