Orthotics Vs Prosthetics

Orthotics and prosthetics are often mistaken for one another, but they serve different purposes in restoring mobility and function!

Did You Know the Difference?

Orthotics: Custom-made braces or supports that help stabilize, align, or improve function for individuals with musculoskeletal or neurological conditions. Examples include foot orthotics, ankle foot orthosis (AFO), knee braces, helmets, and spinal supports.

Prosthetics: Artificial limbs designed to replace a missing body part, whether due to injury, illness, or congenital conditions. These devices restore mobility, independence, and confidence.

Most people don’t think about orthotics or prosthetics until they or a loved one need them. That’s where we come in—to guide you through the process and help you get back to what you love.
